Bridal Heels Bought!

One of the most difficult items for me...HEELS!!
Gosh cos I've got a small but FAT feet..just like me, short and fat..so to find a pair of open-toe heels that will fit and compliment my fat feet ish like trying to look for a needle in a haystack.

And then I've got to know from Facebook that TANGS Studio having sale! So we hoped over to Vivocity last sunday to take a look since the discount is as much as 70%!!

and guess what?

I've found my perfect pair of heels!
Woohoo!! no doubt it looks kinda plain for a bridal heels but eh, actually my gown are all pretty long with trains so my feet can hardly be seen at all, moreover i chose this ivory colour so that it goes well with the day wedding gown and night ball gown too!

Not only that, cos it's not that bling or drama-mama, i can wear it on other normal occasions after the wedding too!

It's better than investing in a pair of bling heels just for bridal use and to chuck it at one corner after that.
Yes you might be able to wear to other dinners, but how often will that be?
And do you know that your heels / shoes will actually spoil if you haven't been wearing them for a while? just like a bra too!

Ok other then it complimenting my fat feet completely, it's also super comfy!

And here's why! the sides of the straps are all elastic so it won't cut into your skin while you walk.

We probably need to be walking around alot on our actual day, so a pair of comfy heels is like super important loh!

and the best part..it's only SGD30 after 70% discount...Wahaa..super saver!

And oh did i mention especially that my night ball gown is super duper heavy? it's the heaviest gown they have in the shop and probably the most expensive one too, with all the little details on the gown..ahah tons of blings, embellishments, heavy satin, ribbons etc.

Taiwan Kids friendly Accommodation with slides - not your usual list!

And so from a mere idea of bringing Sticky Bean with us to Taiwan, this idea was put into action with Singapore Airlines 70th Anniversary promotion where you get to pay only $70 for a child's ticket! Though it's not exactly the cheapest option for flying to Taiwan, we thought to pay a little more for better service and not to mention safety since it will be Sticky Bean's first time traveling on a relatively longer flight. Her first plane ride was a really short one to KL, a mere 1 hour away. If she's manageable on the flight, we can then consider budget airlines such as Scoot or even Jetstar for our subsequent travels. So why Taiwan? There are plenty of reasons for our choice other than both Mr. Keir and myself love Taiwan for the food and hospitality. I'm sure you may have come across Awesome kids friendly accommodation with slides and other themed rooms in Taiwan that are trending in facebook. That was one of the many reasons why we want to go Taiwan too!

BTO Keys Collection and BTO Door Opening Ceremony

And so after a long 4 years wait, our BTO is finally ready for keys collection. To be honest we totally forgot about out BTO and was pleasantly surprised to receive an SMS from HDB to inform us of our BTO keys collection date. That was when we frantically tried to hunt for an ID. Ok to cut the story short, here's what happened on the BTO keys collection day as well as what we did for our "BTO Door Opening Ceremony". There really wasn't an official BTO door opening ritual or ceremony in fengshui. I guess this is just a Singapore custom. Our 7 Day 6 Nights Taiwan Child Friendly Itinerary Preview

Here's a preview of our Taiwan Child Friendly Itinerary for our trip to Taiwan earlier this month in May 2017. You can click on the respective days for a detailed post. And so we finally embarked on our journey to Taiwan onboard Singapore Airlines! Thanks to Singapore Airlines 70th Anniversary promo, we decided to splurge a little on the air tickets. The air tickets cost about $1,440 for 2 adults and 1 3.5 yr old. We spent a total of 7 days 6 nights in Taiwan altogether. But in order to make our Taiwan trip more child-friendly, relaxing, and to cut down on travelling time, we merely visited the North part of Taiwan primarily - Hsinchu, Yilan and Taipei.
